EASY PULSE - eye-catcher at the ERC
This weekend, the ERC congress was held in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany). SCHILLER was present with a booth which attracted a large number of visitors. The booth's centrepiece and eye-catcher was the EASY PULSE, shown in action on a dummy lying on a stretcher with a raised back rest.
The visitors were surprised to see the EASY PULSE being used on a patient in an inclined position (see picture), and they were convinced when they saw it work. The patient's inclined position means that the blood circulation in the brain is improved: the blood is not only pumped to the brain, but it can also flow back more easily in this position.
Besides the ability to use the EASY PULSE in an inclined or even sitting position, the device's size and its weight of only 3.5 kg left a positive impression. The EASY PULSE can easily be used onboard ambulances, helicopters, aircrafts or boats. Our complementing rescue device, the DEFIGARD Touch 7, was also met with great approval. It unites defibrillation and monitoring functions and weighs only 2.4 kg.
