FRED easyport success story from the Ticino
Fondazione Ticino Cuore (Ticino Heart Foundation) reports:
"On 4 June 2012, a 57-year-old male patient collapsed due to ventricular fibrillation. He was defibrillated twice with a FRED easyport at 120 joule until his pulse was restored and the ambulance arrived. The patient was diagnosed with a STEMI (ST elevation myocardial infarction) and was hospitalised while fully conscious.“
„A 44-year-old male patient saw his GP on 13 March 2012 reporting chest pain. The patient then developed ventricular fibrillation and was defibrillated by the GP with a FRED easyport at 120 joule. He also was diagnosed with a STEMI (ST elevation myocardial infarction) and hospitalised.
Both patients are well and did not suffer neurological damages.“
